84 Lumber closing Baldwinsville store - syracuse.com

Baldwinsville, N.Y. — It appears the 84 Lumber store on Downer Street in Baldwinsville is closing.

Staff at the store would not confirm the closure and neither would a spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania-based building supply chain.

But the yard is mostly empty and a clearance sign is up at the location. Staff appeared to be clearing out the store Monday night.

The store also no longer appears on the 84 Lumber website and its Facebook page is gone.

84 still has a store on Route 290 in East Syracuse. It also has stores in Oriskany, Ithaca and Geneva.
